PUPDATE: We are putting this class on "paws" so we can focus on puppy classes, but if you need help with your dog's reactivity, get in touch with us! We are still offering help through private lessons, and with enough interest, we may reinstate these sessions. Many thanks to those who participated!
Does your dog bark, pull on leash, lunge, or generally act a little nutty when he sees dogs or people in public? This is called reactivity, and we can help! Give your dog a new "leash" on life in this ongoing class, where we use Desensitization and Counterconditioning to help your dog learn how to be calm and happy in the presence of others.
Meets 1 - 2 times per month, on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. Classes take place at Georgetown area public parks (you will receive exact location upon registration). A brief orientation by phone or in-person is required before the first session attended (you will receive an email with several options for orientation). The next session is Sunday, September 11, at 9:00 a.m. (If you need help before this date, please get in touch for a private lesson.) The cost is $25 per session.
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the session or private lesson will be 100% refunded. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to request cancellation, and allow 3 - 5 business days for processing of refunds.
We cannot accept cancellations less than 24 hours before the start of class, but you may apply the purchase to a future class or private lesson(s). Please notify us immediately if you need to put your class on hold.
