Service Description

In Basic Dog Manners dog training class we teach you how to train your dog effectively, so you and your pup can thrive together! Using rewards based methods and fun training games, we cover all the basics of good behavior, while ensuring training is fun for both ends of the leash! This class is appropriate for fully vaccinated puppies and dogs age 16 weeks and up, that are not reactive to other dogs or people. If your pup barks excessively at dogs or people when on leash, please check out our Relax Class, or start with a private lesson. Classes meet once per week for six weeks, at Georgetown area public parks. You will learn: About dog behavior and communication Training best practices How to prevent problem behaviors How to build good behaviors and habits Your dog will learn: Come when called Polite greetings How to walk politely on leash Sit/Down/Stay How to be calm around other dogs and people
